Want to be a Co-op student this winter?

Bao-Van Hill, Co-op Coordinator for the Arts, Business & LIBIT Programs, explains what you need:

In order for the students to be eligible for the Co-op Accounting positions, they MUST be a registered Co-op student at UFV.  If they have not applied and completed the Co-op Application process, then they are not registered co-op students.

The deadline to apply for the Co-op Program this upcoming semester is Monday, September 24th, 2012.  Once I have reviewed their applications, they will either get a rejection or acceptance e-mail, and then (if accepted) register for a mandatory Pre-Employment workshop session.  Once they have attended the full day workshop, students will then have an individual meeting with me and must complete their assignments before they are accepted into the Co-op program.

If there are students interested in the accounting co-op positions for January 2013, they must apply for the co-op program this Fall 2012 semester and complete the process.  By the time the job offers are given, the students should have completed the process and be registered co-op students at UFV.

It is the students’ responsibility to apply and complete the co-op application process if they wish to be eligible for the co-op job offers.  Employers contact me to verify their co-op status, and if they are not registered then they will not be considered for the co-op positions.

Students are welcome to contact me for further information (BaoVan.Hill@ufv.ca), but I recommend that they read the Student Handbook to fully understand the process prior.

  1. You look great in short hair! I get the urge every couple of years to go short then hate my life for like a year. I just don’t have the feearuts for it. My faves are Feb, May (cute shot) and now. You look great as a blonde and a redhead. It’s no fair!
