Thinking about pursuing the new CPA designation? There are two ways to satisfy the practical
experience component of the program: the experience verification route and the pre-approved position
route. This means that students have total flexibility in where they gain their work experience – whether
that’s with an organization in industry or public practice.
If you’re looking for a full-time or co-op position for 2015 don’t miss the CPA Fall Recruit 101 Cram
Session hosted by the Chartered Professional Accountants. A representative from CPA will be on
campus at the Kwantlen Langley Campus on Friday, June 20 from 11:00 am – 12:30 to give students
the inside scoop on landing an articling position during the 2014 CPA Fall Recruit. Topics will include
tips for networking, how to put together an effective resume and cover letter, and important dates and
deadlines for the 2014 CPA Fall Recruit.
This workshop will be open to students from Kwantlen, the University of the Fraser Valley, and Trinity
